Adding a customized email message for Flow requests can help your Flow recipients understand the purpose of the email and the Flow request and help them understand what to do next (open and complete the Flow).
Configuring Email Messages and Viewing SMS System Messages
Customize the email body and email footer that will be sent to your customer when a Flow is delivered by email by navigating to Configure > Flow Components > Email & SMS. Click on the + New Email & SMS button.
In the Email & SMS Configuration page edit the default email message as desired. Add variables by clicking the + Add Variable link to personalize an email message with a recipient's name, account number, payment amount, and other variable options. For example, when you add the First Name variable then the Flow's message will automatically include the recipient’s First Name when the email is sent.
When you are finished making updates, click the Save button (a floppy disc icon).
On this page you can also preview the SMS message that the system will automatically generate and send when the Flow is delivered to a recipient's mobile phone.
Editing Email Messages
To edit an existing message click the edit (pencil) icon for the message you’d like to edit.
Within this page, you can edit the existing message. When you’ve completed making the necessary edits to the message click the save button (floppy disc icon) at the bottom of the page.
