HOW DO I EDIT A RECURRING SCHEDULE?
In the main navigation, click the Schedules dropdown and click Schedules list. This will bring you to a screen with all of your active schedules. If the schedule you are looking for is active, you can use the filter results text box to easily locate the schedule. To do so, type an account number, name or other relevant search parameters. If the schedule you are looking for is not active, click the Change Search button. This will open a pop-up with more search criteria that will help identify the schedule you need to edit.
Once you have found the schedule you want to edit, click the eyeball icon in the Actions column. This will open up the schedule. On the left, you will see the account information, schedule information, payment information and contact information. On the right, the payments are displayed in a table that will show you the date, the amount, the status and – when applicable – the transaction ID of each payment on the schedule.
Above the payments table, there is an Actions button. Clicking on this button will give you a list of actions you can take on the schedule. You can deactivate, reactivate, complete and delete a schedule using the options under the actions button. If you click Edit Schedule, you will be brought to a screen that looks very similar to the previous screen. All of the same information is listed but you can now edit any and all of the information.
There a few things to consider when editing a schedule:
- The default view does not show the schedule terms under schedule information. You must toggle to yes where it says Edit Schedule Terms.
- The current balance reflects the remaining balance or the balance of the payments that have yet to be processed.
- If you change the schedule terms or the payment method, it is highly recommended that you send a new authorization request. If a consent request is being sent, the schedule will be saved once you click update but it will be in an inactive status. Once the request is completed, the schedule will automatically switch to an active status and payments will process as intended. IF THE CONSENT REQUEST IS NOT COMPLETED, IS DECLINED, OR EXPIRES, NO PAYMENTS ON THE SCHEDULE WILL PROCESS.
