As you probably know by now, we recently updated the user management (user names and passwords) in our primary system to enhance security and implement industry best practices for our users. Due to the complexity of this update, we have waited until now to update the Secure User Verification Systems that apply to the desktop credit card scannersyou are using.
By the end of this week, we will update the User Verification services that validate a scanner user’s credentials against the PDC4U system. If you have not already updated your user name and password in the primary system, please do so now.
If the primary system is updated with credentials meeting the new requirements you will have no trouble logging into the scanner application. If the primary system has not been updated, you will not be able to log in until it is updated!
In other words, there may be some users who will suddenly not be able to log into the scanner application. If this happens, please go tohttps://encmg.pdc4u.com and log in with your old user name and password. You will be prompted to update your password if it is still necessary. Once this is done, you will be able to log into the scanner application again.
