DESCRIPTION -
You can now request an opt-out list and get back all phone numbers that have opted out from receiving SMS text messages from your company. This report will list all phone numbers that have opted out of further text messages from your PDCflow account; any subsequent SMS attempts sent via NotificationService API will automatically be blocked. If a Location Name is listed, the opt-out only applies to that location, otherwise, the opt-out is company-wide.
API Documentation
Call the SMS OPT OUT REPORTING endpoint of Notification Service API. Documentation can be found here: https://apidocs.pdcflow.com/#notification-service-api
Communicating with Your Customers About Opting Out
If a customer sends a STOP keyword in reply to an SMS message, their number will be added to your SMS Opt-out list. The following STOP keyword commands will block future SMS messages from being sent to the recipient from your PDCflow account: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.
If a customer sends a STOP keyword to your Company Number, they will receive a default reply: “You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”
Communicating with Your Customers About Opting In
If your customer would like to undo an opt-out, and opt back into receiving SMS messages, instruct them to text a START keyword to the Company Number listed within your Opt-in Report list. START, YES, and UNSTOP commands are all approved START keywords and your customer will receive a default reply in response: “You have successfully been re-subscribed to messages from this number. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.”
